Cédric Lombion | Co-founder & CEO
Cédric is a data project design and strategy expert based in Norway. He has spent over a decade designing capacity-building programs and data portals for global institutions. As the former Data and Innovation Lead at the Open Knowledge Foundation, he managed the School of Data programme and its international network.
Cédric focuses on guiding organizations through their data strategy and project design. He advises groups like the World Bank, Transparency International, and EITI. He teaches data project design, data journalism, and practical data collection as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Bordeaux and the University of Turin. At CLi, he serves as the project lead and CEO, bringing his expertise in civic data project design and learning content design to our partners.
Ben Hur Pintor | Co-founder & CTO
Ben Hur is an open data and open geospatial expert based in the Philippines. He is an advocate and educator dedicated to using technology for climate action and disaster mitigation. Ben has a deep technical background, managing GIS infrastructure for the Asian Development Bank and running BNHR, an open data consultancy
As the former Data Training Lead at the Open Knowledge Foundation, Ben refined capacity-building methodologies and coordinated modular learning content like the Open Geodata curriculum. At CLi, he is the CTO and technical writing lead, building open-by-design, civic solutions
How We Work
We operate alongside a global network of experts nurtured over the years, beginning with the School of Data network, and continuing through CLi. This community allows us to scale our impact and bring specialized knowledge to specific challenges.
Beyond training, we develop software to automate complex data processes for civic actors. Whether we are supporting the World Bank’s Risk Data Fellowship, building automated ETL pipelines for the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, or creating custom open data platforms, we build systems that make data accessible and actionable.
